Does Uteke work without internet?
Yes. After a one-time download of the on-device model, everything runs on your phone: capture, voice dictation and search. Airplane mode works the same.
Where are my notes stored?
Only on your phone. There is no account and no cloud sync. Backups are files you export and keep where you choose.
How does search by meaning work offline?
Uteke turns each note into a small vector with an embedding model that runs on your phone, then compares your question with your notes. Nothing is sent to a server.
How big is the download?
The app downloads the search model once, about 188 MB, on first launch. Voice dictation downloads its own small model the first time you use it.
Is there an iPhone version?
